January 28th, 2012, was the first Brambles and Rambles Pagan Meet held at Papa's Ice House in Spring. About 20 people showed up and many different conversations ensued covering everything from Pagan parenting to rituals, practices, Pagan authors, conferences, Dun Alt, and many, many others. It was also filled with a lot of laughter, some of which resulted in very sore ribs and wheezing.
The event was scheduled from 5:00pm until 7:00pm but the last folks left around 8:15pm.
The event and location is children friendly and we even there were even several kiddos there.
Yes, we're still here, just strugggling to get caught up after 'life as usual". That is to say, change!
We'll be bringing this site up to date very soon!
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact us via the contact form on this website.
Blessed be!

Yule 2010 Daybreak Ritual Observed
Written by Meical abAwen
Sunday, 19 December 2010 20:43
Yule 2010 was duly observed and blessed by the presence
of Elderberry and Rowan Knight, who served as our High Priestess
and High Priest for this ritual.
Attached to them are Lyric and Eldwyn.
The Maiden, Crone and Mother (right to left) attended and blessed us all.
The Oak King battled the Holly King and was victorious!
The Wheel turns and the promise of a new spring is born.
And Rowan Knight finished off with freshly made omelets for all,
with handmade hot chocolate! Mmmm.
We're gonna have to ask them to officiate again!
Thank you for the great rite!
Well, not that kind of great rite... er, forget it. :sigh:

Sorry, but the Coven Oven Project has been place on hold till the Springtime.
What's a Coven Oven?
Well, that's what you get when you mix a bunch of witches, water, clay and straw with fun, sun and (probably) cerveza!
No, seriously, keep an eye peeled for future news, 'cause it's gonna be fun!
And if we do it right, it's going to go something like you see below...

Midsummer 2010 Report
Saturday, 03 July 2010 18:16
The Midsummer ritual was a huge success, thanks to Anise and Meical.
There were at least fifty people who showed up for the ritual and a large number of them were first timers. Blackberry Circle would like to thank each and every one of those who attended in celebrating with us and helping us turn the Wheel of the Year.
This year’s Midsummer theme was a complete secret until the time of the ritual. The theme and focus of the ritual was healing the Earth and sending energy to Her to help with the oil spill in the Gulf. Anise raised two, yes, folks, that’s right, two cones of power to send energy to the Gulf. A feat that is awesome in and of itself.
The ritual was a powerful one with everyone, even the newbies, chanting a chant that Anise wrote for the healing of the Earth, the Goddess chant, and We All Come From the Goddess chant. The connection made was, well, awesome.
Meical explained the meanings of Midsummer, the Bright Lord and the Dark Lord, and made a small balefire in the middle of the Circle for folks who wanted to jump the balefire to promote growth, relationships, prosperity or whatever they wanted.
Following the ritual there was feasting, a large bonfire, drumming and even dancing around the bonfire. A great way to celebrate the strength of the Bright Lord and the birth of the Dark Lord.
Overall fun was had by all and many new and wonderful acquaintances were made.
Again, Blackberry Circle would like to thank everyone who attended and welcome them back for future events.
