Houston Pagan Pride 2009!

September 27, 2009

It's that time of year again: time to start planning our Houston Pagan Pride Day. But it's not just any year... no, no! It is the year we officially celebrate 10 years of HPPD!

What: A charitable celebration of religious tolerance and acceptance for Pagans and all faiths which is open to the public. The event offers entertainment, drumming, vendors, children's activities and information about the various aspects of Paganism as a religion. Proceeds and donations collected benefit Friends for Life, a no-kill animal foster care program.
When:
September 27, 2009; Noon-10pm
Where:
The Meridian, 1503 Chartres St. Houston, TX 77003

Ritual will be led by Blackberry Circle.

Now Is The Time....

If you have had an issue at previous events, now is the time to bring it to our attention so we can make sure that actions are taken to prevent it from happening this year if possible. If you think you have ideas to help make the event better, now is the time to jump onto our event mailing list by clicking that Yahoo groups join button over there to the left. We grow and improve through the help and ideas of our volunteers. If you want something a bit different out of your Pagan Pride Day experience, the best way to move towards it is to jump into the planning committee and help make it happen! Now is also a great time to jump on the list if you wish to vend or perform for the event. You'll get the first calls for reservations and talent scouting as they happen!
