Blackberry Circle will hold a morning Yule Ritual starting at about 06:30am (yes, at sunrise) on Saturday, December 18, 2010. The ritual is open to the public and will be family-friendly.
We are pleased to announce that Elderberry and Rowan Knight of Finding The Light Within family coven will be leading our Yule Ritual this year. Wooh! Now we don't have to! No, seriously... now WE don't have to! Yeah!
We look forward to their ritual; what we've seen so far looks promising. AND they're bringing omelets! What more can you ask?!
Well, now that you're asking, please bring something to drink and side dishes or your favorite pile-ons for the omelets. Also, as it is an outdoor ritual, please dress warmly and bring yourself something to sit on. And, if you bring munchkins, please remember that we do not provide baby-sitters and any strays will be rounded up and roasted at mid-day.

Gift Exchange
After the ritual and feast, if you wish you can participate in our White Elephant Gift Exchange.
A white elephant gift exchange is one where everyone brings a gift (in this case under $15.00) and we draw numbers and you choose your gift according to what number you got. The first person opens their gift, then the second person has the chance to steal the first gift or open their's. And it goes on until all the gifts are opened. It's quite fun. |
