Brambles and Rambles Pagan Meet |

Blackberry Circle is beginning a monthly meetup for Pagans in the Montgomery County and North Harris County area, but of course anyone is welcome to attend. The meetup is called Brambles and Rambles Pagan Meet and we will be meeting at the Papa's Ice House in Spring (South Woodlands) located at 314 Pruitt Road, Spring, TX 77380.
We will be meeting on January 28th, 2012, from 5:00PM until about 7:00PM, but may actually go longer depending on the conversations being had.
All are encouraged to come and meet others of like mind and faith for discussions about religion, philosophy, magic and simply life in general.

Take part in one of the hardest and most trying rituals ever devised for Pagans!
A SUNRISE RITUAL!!!
On December 17th join Blackberry Circle at 06:30 AM for a sunrise sunrise ritual to witness the birth of the sun.
Following the ritual caffeine will be provided... Oh, and breakfast, so bring something to add to the breakfast feast.
There will be a White Elephant gift exchange so bring a gift to throw into the mix, and make it something unique so you can take pride in how many times it is stolen (and possible fisticuffs as well)
Bring:
- Breakfast feast item
- Chair for your weary as... rump
- White elephant gift
- Toothpicks to keep the eyes open
Oh, did we mention... This will be Blackberry Circle's Five Year Anniversary!!!

Samhain 2011 - Journey to the Land of the Dead |

 Journey to the Land of the Dead.
Come one, come all to travel between the worlds as we celebrate Samhain at Blackberry Circle.
Once again we are celebrating with a public ritual and get together on November 5th, 2011, for those of you who would like to come, meet and enjoy fellowship with others of your faith.
Samhain is one of the two times when the veil between the worlds is thin and we are able to communicate and visit with those friends, family and loved ones who have passed on. This is a time of remembrance and of celebration as we celebrate the lives of those who have crossed the veil.
Join Blackberry Circle as we travel down to the Land of the Dead and learn what Mysteries we may learn from the darkness. It might be a good idea to bring a flashlight as the ground will be uneven during the journey.
The local Spiral Scouts - Spirit Guardians will have their meeting at BBC at 4:00pm. The Spiral Scouts is a Pagan based scouting program, such as those offered by the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Camp Fire groups. The program was developed to be as inclusive as possible in all areas: it features coed groups and leaders and is nondiscriminatory in all regards (sexual orientation, religion, gender).
*** If you have children you are highly encouraged to attend the meeting and learn more about them. ***
The schedule so far is as follows:
- 4:00pm - Spiral Scouts meeting - those with children are encouraged to attend.
- 4:00pm - Vendors may arrive to set up their tables/wares
- 5:00pm - Public is welcomed to begin arriving to meet others, shop, and to simply have fun.
- 7:15pm - Ritual
- 8:00pm (about) - Feast, visiting, and drumming
We have confirmed that there will be vendors at Blackberry Circle that evening so bring some cash to purchase some nice things from your fellow Pagan artisans and business people. So far it looks like we will have Deidre LaFaye Magickal Gifts and EJ Creations. If any other vendors would like to attend please let one of the BBC folks know.
As always, bring:
- Camp chair to rest the butt-tocks
- Flashlight for journey to Land of the Dead

The 12th annual Pagan Pride Day Houston will be held on October 8th, 2011 from Noon till Midnight at the Moon Tower Inn located at 3004 Canal St. Houston TX. 77002 (Click here for a map).
This event is open to the public. There will be entertainment, vendors, children's activities, open-rituals, good food and brew.
Blackberry Circle has been asked to lead a ritual for Pagan Pride, which was accepted with enthusiasm. Come join us and celebrate your religion with others of like mind.

Join us for MayFest to celebrate Beltane - Blackberry style! |

Please join Blackberry Circle for MayFest, May 7th with festivities beginning at 4:00 pm. We will have a couple of fun events and some of our Wiccan friend selling their wares. The Beltane ritual will begin approximately 7:00 pm or 7:30 pm with a feast to follow after ritual.
Don't forget to bring a lawn chair and a pot luck for the feast!
We look forward to celebrating the turning of the wheel with you!
