Blackberry Circle is excited to continue the work of Juan Mann and is encouraging the rest of the community to join and take an active part in the International Free Hug Day on July 3, 2010.
Blackberry Circle will be Old Town Spring on July 3, 2010, from 10:00AM until 2:00PM offering free hugs to anyone who wants them. Join us in Old Town Spring or better yet...
We encourage you gather several of your friends, make some signs or t-shirts that say "Free Hugs," and find a place in your area to offer free hugs. Take photos, take video, let’s show the world that our community is a loving group of folks and we encourage open arms ready for a hug.

Midsummer 2010 Ritual!

There will be an open ritual celebrating Midsummer on June 19th beginning at 20:30 (8:30 PM) at Blackberry Circle. This celebration is being led by Meical ab Awen and Anise Silvercat.

As with our previous rituals there will be a theme to this one but Meical and Anise are keeping the theme close to their chest and so it will be a surprise for all in attendance.

Please bring something to share with others for feast following the ritual, bring a lawn or camping chair to rest your buttocks upon, bring any musical instruments you wish and most of all bring a great sense of humour and the desire to enjoy yourself.

And just to let everyone know, if you forget your sense of humour of forget and leave it at home Blackberry Circle will have plenty of humour for sale on our gift table at very reasonable prices. Chuckles are cheaper by far but we highly recommend the complete set of guffaws.

Beltaine 2010 and Merry MayDay!

Blackberry Circle is holding an open ritual for Beltaine. We invite you to join us for an evening of mayhem, er... ritual and suchlike. This is an open ritual, but as some of the themes may be adult, we ask that only persons 18 and older attend.
But wait! That's not all! For only $19.95 you get... oh,wait. Sorry, wrong channel. But that is in fact NOT all; there's lots more.
The Finding the Light Within family coven is presenting an event for earlier in the day (May 1st). The Merry Mayday Festival is a fun get together for people wishing to enjoy spring. Blackberry Circle is hosting the event. It will be from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The Beltaine ritual follows at 7:00pm.
This is the second year that Finding the Light Within has organized this event and the first year Blackberry is hosting it. There will be games, May Royalty voting, prizes and much, much more.
This will be a full afternoon of fun and play, followed by a kick-ass open ritual. Be there, or forever hold your piece and never get laid again!

Blackberry Circle will celebrate Ostara this March 20th at 7:30pm at the Covenstead.
This minor Sabbat ritual is open to the public. We hope to make many new friends and to welcome all our old friends.
As always, please remember to bring a lawn chair and something for our potluck dinner.

Help Us Welcome The Birth of the Sun

Blackberry Circle will be celebrating the birth of the Sun with a sunrise ritual on December 19th, 2009. Beginning abotu 06:30 AM. Yup, we will also be honouring the Goddess Caffeinea in mass quantities. Sunrise is scheduled for 07:13 that morning so we must be in place when it arrives.
