Look Who's Coming to Dinner

There will be an open ritual at Blackberry Circle On November 7th, 2009, with festivities beginning at 7:30 PM.

Samhain is the time to celebrate the passing of our loved ones. No, not celebrate that they are gone (even though we may want them gone), but a celebration of their life. With this in mind we are having a "Look Who's Coming to Dinner" celebration.

You are encouraged to dress up like your favorite ancestor and bring a photo or personal belonging of that ancestor or any loved one who has passed over through the veils and honour them on the Altar of the Dead.

The Feast of the Dead will follow the ritual. Bring a dish that your ancestor or loved one enjoyed so they may sit with us again and enjoy some solid food again.

Festivities include:

• Public Ritual
• Pot luck dinner (bring a favorite dish)
• Fire pit (hopefully)
• Drumming
• Lots of conversation

This event will be child friendly so bring the young'uns

Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. You are more than welcome to bring refreshments of your own liking.
